Obstetrics & Gynecology Consultant – Women's Health Lead, Dubai

About the role

A leading healthcare organization in Dubai is looking for an American Board-certified OB/GYN consultant to join its client's team and provide exceptional care to women in a state-of-the-art facility. The role covers the full spectrum of obstetric and gynecological care, from pregnancy through menopause.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to women of all ages, from pregnancy through menopause
• Conduct routine check-ups, perform screenings and manage common gynecological conditions such as endometriosis, pelvic pain and irregular periods
• Deliver babies, perform Caesarean sections and provide postnatal care to new mothers and their babies
• Offer prenatal care including ultrasounds, blood tests and genetic counseling
• Develop and implement treatment plans for complex gynecological conditions and perform surgeries when necessary
• Educate patients on reproductive health and family planning, including contraception and fertility treatments
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and stay up to date with advances in the field through continued education and training

Required profile

• Medical degree from an accredited university
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Consultant OB/GYN, with at least 3 years in the UAE or GCC region
• American Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Valid DHA or MOH license as a Consultant OB/GYN
• Western education or training
