Officer - Planning & Scheduling (Aero Engine MRO)

About the role

The Officer works in the Aero Engine Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) department, supporting both Engineering Production Support and Engine Operations. The role ensures smooth engine throughput by managing OEM-approved data and keeping engine-specific configurations accurate. It sits in the Planning and Scheduling sub-section of the Scheduling Unit and coordinates administrative planning to support efficient engine maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Data gathering (15%): maintain databases showing document progress and status, and generate reports on performance and areas for improvement
• Task planning (70%): evaluate workloads, prioritize tasks and manage your own workload in line with production requirements
• Collaboration and coordination (5%): work with internal departments on continuous improvement projects while complying with quality, safety, health and environmental regulations
• Administrative and support duties (5%): follow up on scheduled reports and carry out other support activities as directed
• Education and training (5%): complete required engine courses and keep up with industry developments

Required profile

• Diploma or Associate Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical Engineering or a related technical field; a bachelor's degree is preferred
• At least three years of experience in aviation, including data and document management with recognized software or ERP suites such as Oracle
• Strong analytical reporting skills and professional communication skills
