Offset Printing Operator

About the role

Careers International is recruiting a full-time Offset Printing Operator in Dubai. The operator runs Manroland/KBA machines and ensures that daily production targets of 48,000 sheets per shift are met according to company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Study the job programme with the previous shift operator and check the work order, then take charge of the shift
• Allocate work to crews, check materials (board type and size) and auxiliary items such as ink, varnish and blankets
• Explain work order details to subordinates and confirm colour, text and size approvals before printing
• Run each job after approval from the production supervisor and complete all quality procedures
• Prepare shift production reports and ensure the machine is cleaned and the workstation tidy for the next shift
• Report machine maintenance needs, spare parts and consumables to the supervisor in writing and coordinate actions to avoid material wastage
• Store tools and used plates properly after each job and follow work specifications given by supervisors

Required profile

• Diploma in printing technology or an equivalent trade certificate
• At least 3-10 years' experience as a machine operator
