Onsite IT Support Technician (Intune & AV)

About the role

AVI-SPL, a provider of collaboration technology solutions and managed services, is looking for an On-Site IT Support Technician to deliver hands-on 1st and 2nd line support in a modern, Intune-managed corporate workplace. The role covers end-user support, device enrolment, Microsoft 365, application deployment and general hardware and software troubleshooting, plus meeting room and collaboration support. It is highly user-facing and requires previous experience in a corporate environment, ideally a law firm or legal services organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support, troubleshooting Windows 10/11 laptops, desktops, peripherals, mobile devices and meeting room PCs, and handling user onboarding, offboarding and equipment refreshes.
• Manage Active Directory and Entra ID issues, authentication, password and MFA problems, and incidents and service requests through the client service desk.
• Enrol and re-enrol Windows devices in Microsoft Intune, configure Company Portal, deploy applications and troubleshoot compliance and conditional access issues.
• Support Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Exchange) and user onboarding and offboarding.
• Support AV and collaboration systems in meeting rooms, including Microsoft Teams Rooms, Crestron, Biamp, Cisco, Poly and Dante, and escalate complex AV faults.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, service requests, deployments and assets, and update knowledge-base articles.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, service desk or blended IT/AV roles.
• Previous experience supporting users in a corporate or professional services environment; law firm experience highly desirable.
• Ability to support senior stakeholders and executives professionally, and to follow incident, escalation, security and change-management procedures.
