Open Source Intelligence Specialist

About the role

Binance is seeking an Open Source Intelligence Specialist to support its risk and compliance functions in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on investigating corporate entities and individuals, uncovering ownership structures, and identifying illicit activity related to digital assets.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct deep‑dive OSINT and public‑record research on corporations and individuals.
• Identify ultimate beneficial owners and map complex corporate control structures.
• Screen subjects for anti‑money‑laundering, corruption and regulatory compliance risks.
• Detect abnormal or malicious activity patterns and map networks of bad actors.
• Document research methodology, findings and conclusions in detailed reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather and share relevant information.
• Provide analytical feedback to enhance Binance’s risk framework.

Required skills

• Open‑source intelligence (OSINT) techniques.
• Corporate due‑diligence research.
• Fundamental knowledge of cryptocurrencies and blockchain networks.
• Blockchain analytics tools and manual block‑explorer investigations.
• Proficiency in at least one additional language (Chinese, Russian, Spanish or Turkish).
