Operations Associate – Grocery

About the role

The Operations Associate supports daily in‑store operations across Deliveroo’s grocery and retail partner network in the UAE. Working on‑site, you will ensure operational excellence, improve picker performance and maintain high service standards across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor site performance using metrics such as B10s, rejections, missing items and cancellations.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of performance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Train pickers on SOPs, substitution handling, order prioritisation and picking accuracy.
• Develop site‑specific action plans to improve KPIs and report findings to central operations.
• Maintain documentation of site visits, issues, solutions and performance feedback.
• Perform hardware checks on tablets, printers and SIMs, troubleshooting or escalating as needed.
• Collaborate with store managers to ensure stock availability and accurate order preparation.

Required profile

• 1–2 years experience in grocery, retail or delivery operations.
• Valid UAE driving licence and own car.
• Ability to work on‑site at multiple store locations for extended periods.
