Operations Executive – Aerospace Logistics

About the role

The Operations Executive will coordinate internal and external stakeholders to execute shipment staging and provide logistics advice to customers in the aerospace sector. You will be responsible for end‑to‑end shipment management, customs compliance, and continuous service improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Check shipment information, validate orders and create execution plans according to Customer Operation Support (COS) instructions.
• Coordinate with network offices to collect required documents (commercial invoice, packing list, etc.) and ensure effective liaison with clients.
• Manage shipments from origin to delivery, monitor via Link tracker, and intervene on service deviations.
• Handle customs compliance, rate negotiations, invoice reconciliation and weekly coordination meetings with overseas teams.
• Provide 24/7 on‑call support for AOG situations and drive continuous improvement on cost and service.

Required profile

• College or university degree in operations, supply chain management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, diplomacy and patience.

Required skills

• Knowledge of import/export laws, customs clearance compliance (UAE customs requirements).
• Working knowledge of IT technical disciplines: systems architecture, operating systems, programming environments and databases.
• Proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS) and shipment tracking tools.
