Operations Manager – Fintech & Crypto

About the role

WhiteBIT is seeking an Operations Manager to lead and optimise the operational framework of its UAE hub. You will ensure seamless transaction processing, settlements and compliance within a fast‑growing crypto ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Design, document and maintain the operating model, SOPs, control checklists, escalation procedures and service‑level standards for WhiteBIT UAE.
• Coordinate operational readiness for VARA licensing and liaise with Compliance, Finance, Product, Technology, Legal and external partners such as banks and custodians.
• Oversee transaction operations, settlements, reconciliations, cash and asset movements, and resolve exceptions.
• Develop and enforce control frameworks, incident‑management processes and auditable records.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of operations experience in a crypto exchange, VASP, fintech, payments firm, brokerage, bank or custodian.
• Hands‑on expertise in virtual‑asset transaction lifecycles, wallets, custody, blockchain confirmations and fiat on/off‑ramp processes.
• UAE regulated financial‑services experience; direct VARA exposure strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, operations, technology or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus.
