Operations Manager

About the role

The Operations Manager will oversee all operational activities at Alfanar Electric, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost‑effective execution of production, maintenance, quality, and supply‑chain processes. Reporting to senior leadership, the role aligns daily operations with business objectives and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operational workflows across production, maintenance, quality, and support functions.
• Ensure operational plans are executed according to approved schedules, targets, and priorities.
• Monitor performance indicators such as productivity, downtime, quality, safety, and cost, and address any issues.
• Track production progress to meet output targets and delivery timelines while optimizing resource utilization.
• Guarantee compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
• Oversee resource and cost management, supporting budget planning and waste‑reduction initiatives.
• Identify and lead continuous‑improvement projects to enhance efficiency, reliability, and cost performance.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate the operations team, ensuring clear accountability and reporting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations or production management within an industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to analyse KPIs, manage budgets, and drive cost‑efficiency.
• Leadership skills to guide multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with internal departments.
• Experience with continuous‑improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, 5S).
