About the role
Amazon is expanding its Operations team in the United Arab Emirates. The Operations Supervisor will lead a shift at a first‑mile fulfillment centre, middle‑mile sortation hub or final‑mile delivery station, ensuring safe, efficient and on‑time order processing.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain a safe working environment by identifying and acting on safety opportunities.
- Manage, coach and train associates to deliver high‑quality service.
- Ensure customer orders are fulfilled according to quality and safety standards.
- Provide real‑time shift information to frontline management and operators.
- Adjust labour allocation throughout the shift to meet or exceed forecasts.
- Collaborate with support functions (process readiness, 5S, safety, training) to resolve performance issues.
- Analyse data and drive process optimisation to solve logistics and supply‑chain challenges.
Required profile
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- High school diploma.
- Preferably experience in a logistics or operations environment.
