Oracle Apps DBA

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Apps DBA to manage a complex enterprise environment that includes Real Application Clusters (RAC), Automatic Storage Management (ASM), and a multi‑node architecture. The role involves overseeing the database tier that supports Oracle E‑Business Suite or similar enterprise applications.

Key responsibilities

• Start and stop Grid Infrastructure, ASM, and database instances using srvctl, and coordinate application tier services across all nodes.
• Monitor cluster health, ASM disk groups, and multi‑node application services on a daily basis.
• Perform rolling upgrades of RAC database nodes to ensure zero downtime and apply AD/TXK patches on the application tier.
• Maintain Cache Fusion synchronization and manage storage tier using ASM.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering.
• Oracle Database administration certification is a plus.
• Training or experience with Oracle E‑Business Suite / Oracle Applications is highly desirable.
• Linux/Unix administration certification or training is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Cloud/OCI environments is an advantage.
