Oracle EBS OAF Specialist

About the role

The Specialist - Information Technology (Oracle EBS OAF Function) develops, customizes, maintains and supports Oracle E-Business Suite applications using Oracle Application Framework (OAF). The role works with senior IT team members, functional consultants and business stakeholders to turn business requirements into reliable technical solutions, ensuring application performance, system stability, data integrity and compliance with Oracle development standards and IT governance. It is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director - Information Technology within the Group Chief Finance Office & SVP - Asset Management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, customize, test and maintain Oracle EBS applications using OAF pages, JSP components, controllers, application modules, view objects and RICEW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows), adhering to Oracle coding standards and IT governance.
• Analyze functional requirements with functional consultants and stakeholders, prepare design documents and recommend solutions aligned with architecture, performance, security and maintainability.
• Provide technical support for OAF incidents in development, testing and production, troubleshoot OAF, JSP, Java, SQL, PL/SQL, XML and web services issues, perform root-cause analysis and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Monitor and optimize OAF components, application code and database queries, support Oracle EBS upgrades, patches and migrations.
• Maintain technical documentation, test scripts and deployment instructions, run unit and system tests, support integration and user acceptance testing and assist with controlled deployments.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in Oracle EBS technical development and application support, including at least 3 years of hands-on work with Oracle Application Framework.
• Experience with Oracle EBS modules such as Inventory, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and Projects is expected.
• Knowledge of the CMRO module and experience in aviation or MRO environments are desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Java, JSP, XML and web services.
• RICEW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows).
• Oracle E-Business Suite technical certification and certifications in Java, Oracle databases or application development are advantageous.
• Strong technical development skills, problem solving, knowledge of ERP architecture and integrations, performance optimization, documentation and communication.
