Orthopaedic Surgeon

About the role

A leading healthcare facility in Dubai is looking for an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon to diagnose, treat and manage musculoskeletal conditions, including bone, joint, ligament, tendon and muscle disorders. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in orthopaedic surgery, trauma management and complex musculoskeletal conditions. The workplace is on site.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of orthopaedic conditions and musculoskeletal disorders.
• Perform elective and emergency orthopaedic surgical procedures, including fracture fixation, joint reconstruction and other surgeries.
• Manage fractures, joint injuries, sports injuries and degenerative musculoskeletal conditions.
• Evaluate patients and develop surgical and non-surgical treatment plans.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care, including monitoring recovery and rehabilitation.
• Manage orthopaedic trauma and surgical emergencies.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, radiologists, pain specialists and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and uphold high standards of clinical care.

Required profile

• MBBS or an equivalent internationally recognized primary medical qualification.
• Master's degree, postgraduate specialist qualification, fellowship or equivalent internationally recognized qualification in Orthopaedic Surgery.
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization clinical experience preferred.
• Proven experience in orthopaedic surgical procedures and trauma management.
• Experience in joint replacement, arthroscopy or other subspecialty procedures is an advantage.
