Panel Operator – HYL & Midrex Plant (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are seeking a Panel Operator to manage the control panels of the HYL and Midrex plants in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing material handling, reactor charging and discharging, and related processes to ensure safe and efficient plant operation.

Key responsibilities

• Operate control panels for material handling systems, reactor charge/discharge, hot DRI transport to SMP, cold DRI handling, de‑dusting systems and cement coating.
• Maintain process parameters according to daily operating instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor plant performance, take timely corrective actions to prevent delays or unsafe events.
• Coordinate with field staff, shift supervisors and the MH Department for raw material feeding and product discharge.
• Follow shutdown, start‑up and emergency procedures to ensure safe plant operation.
• Record process parameters and operational data in log sheets.

Required profile

• Higher Secondary School or ITI qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating plant control panels.
• Fluent English communication skills.
