Paralegal

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Paralegal to support our Legal Department in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will handle a wide range of legal documentation, maintain corporate registers, and provide administrative assistance to the General Counsel and lawyers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare letters, NOCs, and simple contracts in English and Arabic.
• Create and maintain company registers (POAs, trade licences, AoAs, trademarks) and contract logs.
• Monitor renewals of legal contracts and corporate documents.
• Liaise with Abu Dhabi Public Notary offices for approvals, amendments, and notarisation.
• Assist in establishing new subsidiaries and managing licensing processes.
• Manage invoices from external legal service providers and ensure compliance with fee caps.
• Maintain the legal precedent database and coordinate translations.
• Support the General Counsel with team meetings, minutes, board records, and administrative tasks.
• Provide secretarial support to lawyers, including formatting and amending complex legal documents.

Required profile

• Paralegal qualification, law degree, or office‑management qualification with solid legal experience.
• Minimum five years of experience in a reputable law firm or in‑house legal department.
• Proven experience drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, corporate contracts, AoAs, resolutions and NDAs.
• Experience tracking and organising case files, corporate documents and major deal files.
• Familiarity with electronic filing of legal documents to federal or local portals.
• Preferable experience in corporate governance, M&A support, regulatory compliance, and sectors such as asset, property, facilities, real‑estate or construction.

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
