Part-time Primary Teacher

About the role

The centre is seeking a motivated part-time Primary Teacher to deliver high-quality tutoring and academic support to young learners. You will work directly with students, parents and staff to enhance learning outcomes in core subjects.

Key responsibilities

• Academic Support: Provide individualized and small-group tutoring in core subjects to help students improve understanding and performance.
• Homework Assistance: Guide students through homework and assignments, fostering effective study habits and time-management skills.
• Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress and communicate findings to the Center Manager and parents.
• Assessment Reports: Prepare detailed reports after each session documenting performance, areas for improvement and feedback for guardians.
• Mentorship: Act as a role model, offering guidance to build confidence and resilience in students.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Center Manager and other staff to align tutoring strategies with overall teaching objectives.
• Parent Communication: Engage with parents to discuss progress and address concerns.
• Professional Development: Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance tutoring skills.
• Engagement: Conduct interactive tutoring sessions both in-person and online, maintaining a positive learning environment.
