Part-Time Remote Civil Engineer

About the role

Centro de Medicina Digital P5 is looking for a part-time remote Civil Engineer to support infrastructure planning and design for healthcare-related digital facilities and their associated site developments. The engineer prepares and reviews civil drawings, reports and technical documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, codes and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform site and stormwater analysis and assist with grading and drainage solutions
• Coordinate civil inputs with multidisciplinary project teams
• Contribute to project planning and evaluate design alternatives for efficiency and sustainability
• Provide technical recommendations to support safe and reliable operations
• Take part in virtual meetings with stakeholders and keep clear project records
• Support continuous improvement of engineering processes in a digital-first environment

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; professional licensure (e.g. PE or equivalent) is an advantage
• Experience in infrastructure planning for site layouts, utilities and circulation, integrated into broader project plans
• Knowledge of stormwater management, including drainage design, runoff analysis and compliance with local and regional regulations
• Background working in civil engineering teams or multidisciplinary engineering groups
• Ability to work independently remotely, manage part-time hours and communicate clearly virtually
• Experience with healthcare, technology or digital infrastructure projects is a plus, as is knowledge of sustainability and resilience practices
