Parts Picker – Automotive Spare Parts

About the role

The Parts Picker ensures accurate receipt, inspection, verification, storage and system entry of automotive parts and materials. Working in a busy warehouse environment, you will support the after‑sales operation by maintaining inventory accuracy and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Review and print packing lists from vendors and verify package counts against documentation.
• Open shipments, inspect items for damage, and confirm quantities match the packing list.
• Validate part numbers and ensure physical parts correspond to the listed details.
• Report shortages, damages or discrepancies to the Supervisor and raise damage reports.
• Sort and arrange parts by size and category for efficient binning and storage.
• Move and store parts in designated warehouse locations, placing heavy items on lower levels and lighter items higher.
• Handle and transport goods carefully to prevent damage during internal movements.
• Update inventory records and transaction data in SAP, maintaining overall inventory accuracy.
• Ensure all warehouse activities are performed safely and in compliance with company procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 24 months experience in automotive parts, after‑sales or warehouse environments.
• Proven ability to manage inventory and perform accurate receiving tasks.
• Familiarity with safety and material handling standards.
• Ability to work onsite in a fast‑paced warehouse setting.
