Part‑time Remote Production Manager (Construction)

About the role

The Space For Construction Co. SCC is looking for a part‑time, remote Production Manager to lead planning, scheduling and coordination of construction‑related production activities. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and to the required quality standards while supporting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee project planning, scheduling and resource allocation for construction projects.
• Monitor daily progress, review technical and engineering inputs, and prepare regular progress reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, project management) and external partners.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks or delays.
• Optimize workflows and support value‑engineering initiatives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of production processes.

Required profile

• Strong background in construction or civil engineering with experience in production or project coordination.
• Proficiency in project planning, scheduling and resource allocation tools.
• Knowledge of value engineering, cost control and risk mitigation in construction.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and engineering documentation.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
• Ability to work independently on a part‑time basis and manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience with fast‑track, hospital or specialized facilities projects and Ministry‑related projects is an advantage.
• Familiarity with health, safety and regulatory standards in the construction sector.
