Patient Admin Executive

About the role

The Patient Admin Executive is the first point of contact for visitors at New Sunny Medical Center Rolla. You will ensure smooth patient flow, accurate registration, and effective communication between patients, clinical staff, and insurance providers.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients, direct them to appropriate departments, and provide routine hospital information.
• Register new patients, verify insurance coverage, and maintain up‑to‑date insurance records.
• Handle phone calls and daily email inquiries, responding promptly and professionally.
• Process insurance claims, monitor pending approvals, and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, safe reception area and adhere to hospital policies, infection‑control standards, and NMC regulations.
• Document patient information accurately in the hospital system and ensure correct ICD and CDT coding.
• Escalate complex insurance issues to the head‑office team and prepare records for audits.
• Participate in training programs and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• College diploma in any discipline or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for dealing with patients, staff, and management.
• Ability to work flexible shift schedules as assigned.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ICD coding.
• Knowledge of CDT coding.
• Insurance verification and claims processing.
