Patient Admin Executive - UAEN

About the role

Speciality Hospital Dubai is looking for a Patient Admin Executive (UAEN) to handle front-desk and billing duties. The role covers greeting patients, registration, appointment management, insurance information and billing, as well as supporting the finance team with cash and cheque collections.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients, direct them to the right departments and give routine information about the hospital.
• Handle telephone inquiries and pass details to the doctor or nurse for callbacks.
• Manage appointments, including no-shows, rescheduling and confirmations.
• Register new patients and keep current patient records up to date.
• Explain medical insurance coverage, collect co-payments and issue claim forms for reimbursement.
• Generate and process patient invoices for consultations, treatments and diagnostic tests, record charges accurately and issue bills for outstanding balances, co-pays and deductibles.
• Facilitate daily cash collection, credit card slips and cheque deposits, following finance protocols.
• Maintain working knowledge of the hospital information system, clinic hours, appointment durations, doctor rosters and booking procedures.
• Check emails daily, follow the duty roster and shift schedule, and keep the reception area safe and clean.
• Handle complaints professionally, support continuous quality improvement, and adhere to NMC regulations, infection control, patient safety and JCI standards.
• Maintain patient and staff confidentiality and accurate data.

Required profile

• College diploma in any discipline or a related field.
• Ability to work shifts and follow the duty roster set by the team leader or supervisor.
• Good interpersonal skills, teamwork and attention to detail.
