Patient Family Experience Nurse - Pipeline Building

About the role

Amana Healthcare, a long-term care and rehabilitation provider in the Middle East and GCC and part of the M42 network, is hiring a Registered Nurse in Abu Dhabi focused on pipeline building and improving the patient and family experience. The nurse provides individualized care to patients and their families according to current evidence-based standards, in line with DOH/DHA and organizational policies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide initial nursing assessments according to clinical guidelines and make the required medical referrals.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for each patient, considering socioeconomic and cultural factors to enhance the patient and family experience.
• Monitor patients closely and adjust the nursing care plan accordingly, including assisting with advanced medical procedures in specialized areas of care.
• Manage and administer medications as per business unit allocation.
• Promote patient safety and compliance with clinical practice guidelines, pathways and hospital policies, and use clinical equipment and materials efficiently.
• Maintain medical store requirements and safety checks, and document care according to organizational policies.
• Communicate escalations of care and coordinate with the responsible physician and multidisciplinary team to prioritize patient needs.
• Facilitate patient and family education from admission to discharge and resolve patient concerns, feeding back satisfaction results to nursing management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• DOH license or passing grade.
• Minimum 2 years of experience after qualification.
