PAUT Operator

About the role

The PAUT Operator will perform advanced non‑destructive testing (NDT) activities on pipelines, piping, and equipment in the oil & gas sector. The role requires strict adherence to safety and environmental standards while delivering accurate inspection results.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced NDT jobs such as tube inspection, tank floor inspection, and long/short‑range guided wave applications following approved procedures.
• Maintain and use all safety devices and tools, ensuring a clean and safe work area.
• Participate in daily toolbox talks and follow instructions from site coordinators and crew leaders.
• Prepare final inspection reports in accordance with procedural requirements.
• Troubleshoot and maintain advanced NDT equipment to minimize downtime.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of overall experience in NDT, with at least 3 years post‑certification.
• PCN PAUT Level 2 certification and proven experience in Phased Array UT within the O&G industry.
• Ability to interpret data accurately and select appropriate inspection methods.
