Payment Project Manager – Payments & Banking (SWIFT, RTGS, ACH)

About the role

An experienced Payment Project Manager is sought to lead end-to-end project delivery in the UAE, with strong expertise in banking and payment transformation projects. The role covers payment projects, system implementations, upgrades and integrations, and requires deep knowledge of SWIFT, RTGS and ACH.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payment projects, system implementations, upgrades and integrations.
• Manage project planning, execution, budgets, risks and governance.
• Coordinate with business, operations, technology teams, vendors and external stakeholders.
• Drive payment transformation initiatives while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational readiness.
• Prepare project status reports, dashboards and executive-level presentations.

Required profile

• 8+ years of project management experience, preferably in banking and payments.
• Proven experience delivering payment projects within the GCC region.
• Exposure to core banking implementations, migrations, upgrades or transformation programs.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile certification is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of domestic and cross-border payments, SWIFT, RTGS, ACH, clearing and settlement.
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid methodologies.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
