Payments and Fintech Consultant

About the role

A payments and fintech company is looking for a Consultant on a 7-month contract starting in October, based in Dubai. The role supports business growth, product development and client engagement across SME and corporate markets, working closely with senior leadership, product teams and external clients. About 65% of client engagement focuses on SMEs, with the remaining 35% supporting large corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business development and product teams to identify client needs and help design and improve payment solutions.
• Support the delivery and implementation of strategic projects for SME and corporate clients.
• Develop business development materials, proposals, presentations and other client-facing tools.
• Lead stakeholder engagement with clients and internal teams, including Director-level and senior management.
• Provide consulting advice on emerging technologies such as AI agent projects, analyse business requirements and recommend practical solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in payments, FinTech, banking, consulting or related financial services, with exposure to product development and client-facing work.
• Strong understanding of project delivery, business development, stakeholder management and solution implementation.
• Ability to work independently, influence senior stakeholders, analyse complex business challenges and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• 8 to 21 years of experience.
