PE Teacher

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified female Physical Education teacher to join GEMS Cambridge International Private School in Sharjah. The successful candidate will deliver engaging PE lessons, promote healthy lifestyles and support the school’s British‑based curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Physical Education classes for various year groups.
• Develop and implement a diverse sports program aligned with the British curriculum.
• Organise extracurricular activities, sports events and competitions.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
• Collaborate with colleagues across phases to integrate physical activity into the wider school programme.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education (non‑distance learning).
• Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Female candidate, locally available.
• Good command of English and strong interpersonal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using IT tools for lesson planning and student assessment.
