People & Culture Internship

About the role

Join the People & Culture team at Banyan Tree Dubai for a full‑time internship starting February 2027. This role offers hands‑on experience in talent acquisition, employee engagement, learning & development, and day‑to‑day HR operations within a luxury hospitality setting.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily HR activities, administrative tasks and employee‑related initiatives.
• Assist with recruitment: job postings, CV screening, interview coordination and candidate communication.
• Help onboard new team members to ensure a warm first impression.
• Contribute to employee engagement programmes, recognition events and wellbeing activities.
• Organise training sessions, workshops and learning opportunities.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems while ensuring confidentiality.
• Prepare employee communications, presentations, reports and HR materials.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, approachable personality.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Attention to detail, strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Professional discretion and understanding of confidentiality.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
