People Partner – Joint Venture

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, commercially‑mindset People Partner to support a dynamic multi‑business luxury retail joint venture. Reporting to the General Manager, you will act as a trusted HR advisor across corporate and frontline retail functions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the General Manager and functional leaders to translate business priorities into People strategies and implement Group HR policies while adapting them to JV needs.
• Manage day‑to‑day HR matters, talent acquisition, workforce planning, performance management, and employee development.
• Drive employee engagement, culture, and inclusion initiatives across corporate and retail teams, including regular store visits and feedback loops.
• Provide HR analytics, prepare metrics on headcount, turnover, retention and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Lead HR projects from planning to execution, ensuring stakeholder alignment and measurable outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or People Partner in a fast‑paced, retail or luxury environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to balance strategic initiatives and operational execution.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to influence senior leadership.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of HR policies, talent acquisition, performance management and employee relations.
• Ability to analyse HR data and produce actionable insights.
