Performance & Reporting Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Performance & Reporting Specialist to manage the performance management system for an Abu Dhabi government entity. You will ensure consistent, reliable KPI‑based reporting for leadership and government stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the KPI library and KPI cards, including definitions, formulas, data sources, owners and frequency.
• Run the annual target‑setting cycle, challenging proposals against strategy and past performance.
• Control all changes to KPIs and targets through an approved process.
• Run the quarterly reporting cycle: collect, validate and consolidate KPI data across business units.
• Produce the quarterly scorecard and write concise commentary on results, drivers and implications.
• Track agreed actions to closure and escalate delays and recurring gaps.
• Maintain the register and calendar of government reporting obligations and prepare performance submissions.
• Define and measure benefit metrics, baselines and targets for strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• 6–9+ years of experience in performance management, strategy execution, business intelligence, PMO or management consulting.
• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, statistics, engineering, management or a related field; professional certification is a plus.
• Fluency in English required; Arabic strongly preferred.
• Qualified UAE Nationals are strongly encouraged to apply; exceptional candidates of all nationalities will also be considered.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience designing KPI frameworks, running target‑setting and quarterly reporting cycles.
• Experience preparing performance reporting for government or regulators.
• Strong analytical skills for identifying trends, variances and their drivers.
• Experience producing scorecards, executive reports and management presentations.
