Senior Analyst – Commercial Initiatives (UAE National)

About the role

A leading government entity in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Analyst to drive commercial and financial initiatives for major capital projects and infrastructure development. The role involves strategic analysis, market research, budgeting and stakeholder engagement to support data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct gap analyses to identify opportunities in existing commercial processes.
• Support the development and implementation of commercial strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
• Perform financial feasibility studies, cost‑benefit analysis, financial projections and risk assessments.
• Carry out market research and analyse trends, economic conditions and industry developments.
• Assist in budgeting, monitoring expenditures and ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
• Draft, review and manage contracts related to capital projects.
• Prepare reports, presentations and recommendations for senior management and executive committees.
• Use data and analytical tools to provide insights into commercial and financial performance.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and identify future opportunities.
• Collaborate with government entities, project developers, financial partners and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial or financial analysis, business initiatives or project development.
• UAE national with strong analytical, commercial and financial capabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail, structured problem‑solving and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
