Pharmacy Attender – Patient Care & Prescription Coordination

About the role

The Pharmacy Attender ensures high‑quality care for patients and their families by acting as the main liaison between patients, the clinic, and the procurement team. You will introduce services, keep patients informed about prescription status, and support smooth pharmacy operations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and resolve missing prescriptions, guaranteeing 100% delivery to the pharmacy.
• Greet and assist every customer entering the pharmacy, ensuring no one is left unattended.
• Receive prescriptions promptly and provide accurate information to patients.
• Coordinate timely medication dispensing and communicate any delays.
• Arrange home deliveries, liaising with delivery personnel and informing patients of delivery details.
• Maintain professional communication and address customer queries about pharmacy services.
• Support the Pharmacy In‑Charge in implementing MOH‑compliant SOPs and quality improvements.
• Monitor stock levels, coordinate with procurement, and report shortages.
• Oversee cleanliness and proper arrangement of medicines on shelves.
• Participate in monthly review meetings and propose service‑enhancement ideas.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to speak and understand the local language.
• Basic English communication skills, especially in diverse clinic environments.
