Physiotherapist - Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation

About the role

Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Hospital, part of the M42 group, is looking for a Physiotherapist specializing in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation to join its Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation team. The role provides assessment and evidence-based physiotherapy management for male patients with pelvic floor, pelvic health, colorectal, urological and related musculoskeletal conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pelvic health assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
• Assess and treat pelvic floor muscle dysfunction and related conditions
• Manage urinary, bowel, pelvic pain and post-prostatectomy concerns
• Deliver pelvic floor rehabilitation, including exercise, biofeedback and neuromuscular re-education
• Provide manual therapy for pelvic, abdominal, hip and lumbar conditions
• Educate patients on pelvic health, lifestyle changes and self-management strategies
• Support pre- and post-operative rehabilitation and multidisciplinary care
• Maintain accurate documentation, monitor outcomes and uphold evidence-based practice

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy/Physical Therapy
• Valid professional license or eligibility to practice as a Physiotherapist in the UAE
• Clinical experience in male pelvic health and pelvic floor rehabilitation
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Good written and verbal English and Arabic communication skills
