Piano Teacher

About the role

Melodica Music & Dance Academy, the UAE's largest music and dance education provider with more than 25 branches, is hiring a full-time, on-site Piano Teacher in Dubai. The teacher conducts individual and small group piano lessons for children and adults, using a structured curriculum aligned with international exam boards where appropriate.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans and teach piano technique and music theory
• Monitor student progress and give constructive feedback
• Support students in exam preparation and recital readiness
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and achievement
• Collaborate with colleagues to improve the learning experience
• Contribute to an encouraging, inclusive classroom environment

Required profile

• Strong practical piano playing and performance skills
• Experience teaching diverse age groups
• Solid knowledge of music theory and its application in piano instruction
• Expertise in piano pedagogy and curriculum-based lesson planning
• Relevant music degree, diploma or professional certification in piano or music education preferred
• Experience preparing students for graded exams (e.g. ABRSM, Trinity) is an advantage
• Ability to work on-site in Dubai in a multicultural, student-centred setting
