About the role
The Picker – Online Grocery Fulfilment ensures customers receive accurate, fresh, and high‑quality orders for delivery or Click & Collect within the M&S Food operation in Dubai.
Key responsibilities
- Pick customer orders accurately using handheld devices or mobile applications.
- Meet agreed service level agreements and prioritize urgent deliveries.
- Select the freshest products, checking expiry dates, packaging and condition.
- Apply FIFO principles and follow company guidelines for substitutions.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and minimise waste while collaborating with store operations, customer service and delivery teams.
Required profile
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
- Attention to detail to ensure product quality, freshness and order accuracy.
- Commitment to food safety standards and proper handling of fresh, chilled, frozen and bakery items.
Required skills
- Operation of handheld picking devices or mobile order‑picking applications.
- Understanding of FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory principles.
