Pigging Operator – Abu Dhabi, UAE

About the role

The Pigging Operator will support safe execution of pipeline pigging, cleaning, displacement, nitrogen operations and related equipment activities on both onshore and offshore projects in Abu Dhabi. The role reports to the Operations Manager or Project Manager and requires strict adherence to company procedures and customer safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pipeline pigging operations, including pig launching, receiving and tracking.
• Assist in setup, operation and maintenance of pigging equipment, pumps, hoses and associated tools.
• Carry out equipment preparation, loading, unloading, mobilisation and demobilisation.
• Support Inline Inspection (ILI) tool launching and receiving.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and report defects or maintenance needs.
• Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings and risk assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of operational activities and equipment usage.
• Uphold housekeeping standards for equipment, vehicles, containers and work areas.
• Assist senior personnel with troubleshooting and operational tasks as required.

Required profile

• Intermediate Certificate, Technical Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years experience in pipeline pigging, industrial services, mechanical operations or related oil & gas fields.
• Basic knowledge of pigging equipment, pumps, hoses and mechanical systems.
• Understanding of pipeline cleaning and pigging activities.
• Experience in field operations within oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery or industrial environments.
• Previous ADNOC project experience preferred; ADNOC WMS certification is an advantage.
