Team Leader - QC

About the role

Julphar is seeking a Team Leader for the Finished Product & Stability team within its Quality Control division. The role involves leading QC processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing a team of analysts in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and ensure compliance of all finished product and stability testing activities.
• Operate and maintain QC instruments, adhere to GLP, GMP, and safety procedures, and keep the laboratory environment hygienic.
• Enter, review, and verify test data in SAP and manage product release or rejection decisions.
• Coordinate with production plants, oversee technology transfer projects, and handle audits, CAPA, deviations, and change controls.
• Coach, train, and motivate the QC team, ensuring high competency and accurate, timely results.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in QC/QA within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) knowledge.
• Experience with SAP for data entry and product release.
• Familiarity with Amplelogic system for quality management actions.
• Hands‑on experience with QC instruments and stability testing methods.
• Understanding of cGMP regulations and industry standards.
