Pipeline Engineer

About the role

The Pipeline Engineer will monitor and supervise day‑to‑day preventive and corrective maintenance activities for the MOL network and associated facilities. The role ensures safe and efficient operation of pipelines, supporting ADNOC Onshore and third‑party activities within the assigned area.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise assigned personnel and enforce financial authorities to maintain safe activities in line with ADNOC Onshore guidelines.
• Manage supply of non‑stock materials, spares and consumables, and coordinate procurement to guarantee business continuity.
• Oversee Hot Tapping and Cold Cutting procedures, ensuring all personnel follow safe working practices when welding on live or pressurised pipelines.
• Plan and monitor welding workshop services, coordinating with maintenance and project teams to deliver efficient and economical solutions.
• Monitor workshop activities for compliance with safety rules, stopping any unsafe work that could lead to injuries or fatalities.
• Operate the MOL network according to design parameters, pressure protection systems and field throughput.
• Ensure ADNOC and third‑party activities along the MOL corridor comply with ADNOC Onshore procedures and standards.
• Conduct routine pipeline patrolling to verify integrity and safety of the corridor.

Required profile

• Minimum of 72 months (6 years) of relevant experience in pipeline maintenance and operations.
• Proven ability to supervise personnel and manage safety‑critical activities.
• Experience coordinating material supply and procurement for maintenance projects.
