Planning Junior Engineer - EPC Projects

About the role

A Planning Junior Engineer is needed for the Hail & Ghasha project in Al Ruwais, UAE, working under the supervision of the Planning Senior Engineer. The role supports the planning team with reporting on EPC projects of any size and complexity, in line with the contract, quality requirements, project execution plan, WBS and schedules. The position starts on 01/12/2026 on a rotational basis.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for EPC projects, and perform data extraction, transformation and loading.
• Build and run a web-based dashboard tool that extracts data from construction sites and produces summary reports for management.
• Coordinate the compilation of engineering, procurement and construction data and gather stakeholder data needs.
• Link Power BI to Primavera P6 schedules to obtain planned progress data, and aggregate actual progress from the C3 progress measurement system (PMS).
• Compare planned and actual progress in live dashboards, including progress S-curves, manpower histograms and commodity curves.
• Schedule, monitor and report EPC projects, producing daily, weekly and monthly reports on progress, quantities, manpower and man-hours.
• Ensure data accuracy and train end-users on using the dashboards and reports.

Required profile

• University degree or diploma in a relevant field.
• At least 3-4 years of experience, preferably in construction or oil and gas.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail and management skills, with a team-oriented approach and strong focus on timely performance.

Required skills

• Mandatory: Power BI, Primavera P6 and advanced Excel.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling and expertise in building Power BI dashboards.
