Planning Project Manager - MEP

About the role

Innovo Group is looking for a Planning Project Manager for a major MEP project in Dubai. The role leads programme planning and control and works closely with the Project Manager to ensure schedule integrity and proactive delay mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project master programme and lead programme review meetings with subcontractors and project teams.
• Identify schedule risks early, propose recovery and mitigation strategies, and maintain delay event logs to support EOT claim preparation with the commercial team.
• Prepare programme reports, look-aheads and progress dashboards, and issue weekly progress updates on critical path status.
• Integrate subcontractor programmes into the master schedule, check logic links and coordinate progress updates and interface issues.
• Check site progress against the programme, flagging discrepancies between reported and physical progress.
• Introduce modern tools, technologies and processes that improve efficiency and transparency, and encourage innovation to reduce costs without compromising quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7-9 years of planning experience on major MEP projects.
• Experience integrating subcontractor programmes, monitoring physical progress, preparing look-ahead schedules and identifying schedule risks and delays.
• Understanding of delay analysis, extension-of-time claims, recovery programmes and mitigation strategies, and ability to support commercial teams with programme records.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6, project scheduling, baseline programmes, critical path analysis, resource loading, progress measurement and programme updates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project reporting tools.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, coordination, analytical, problem-solving and presentation skills.
