PLC Programmer / Automation Engineer – CODESYS Expert

About the role

Sunreef Yachts is seeking a highly technical PLC Programmer / Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automation solutions for marine applications. The role focuses on CODESYS‑based development, real‑time control, and integration of industrial communication protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain PLC applications using CODESYS V3.x.
• Design software architecture with Function Blocks, FBD, ST, LD, and SFC.
• Create reusable CODESYS libraries and custom function blocks.
• Implement OOP concepts such as interfaces, inheritance, and encapsulation.
• Configure task scheduling, real‑time execution, and I/O mapping.
• Debug applications using monitoring, breakpoints, and trace tools.
• Manage version control and library repositories.
• Integrate systems via APIs and industrial protocols.
• Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and documentation.
