PMC Commissioning Manager

About the role

The Commissioning Manager (PMC) will lead and oversee all commissioning and start‑up activities for major offshore oil & gas, marine or energy projects on behalf of the Project Management Consultant. The role ensures safe, efficient and compliant execution from pre‑commissioning through hand‑over to operations, working closely with EPC contractors, operators and multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage pre‑commissioning, commissioning and start‑up phases for offshore projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory requirements throughout the CSU process.
• Lead hand‑over activities to operations and provide final documentation.
• Interface with EPC contractors, client operators and internal multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor progress, budgets and schedules, reporting status to senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing commissioning and start‑up for large offshore oil & gas or energy projects.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of offshore systems, regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
