Pool Maintenance Manager – 5‑Star Luxury Hotel (Saudi Arabia)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Pool Maintenance Manager to lead the daily operation and upkeep of all swimming pool facilities at a prestigious 5‑star luxury hotel on the Red Sea in Saudi Arabia. The role ensures the highest standards of water quality, safety and guest satisfaction in a high‑end hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily pool maintenance, including water quality, filtration, pumps and related mechanical equipment.
• Monitor and adjust chemical levels, pH, chlorine and alkalinity to meet luxury hotel and health regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of pool areas, equipment and facilities, coordinating repairs as needed.
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all pool machinery.
• Manage pool cleaning processes such as skimming, vacuuming, backwashing and water treatment.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, safety and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Housekeeping and Recreation teams for seamless operations.
• Train, supervise and evaluate pool maintenance staff.
• Maintain accurate records of water testing, chemical usage and maintenance activities.
• Oversee inventory of chemicals, tools and supplies and respond promptly to guest concerns.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of pool maintenance experience, preferably in a 5‑star hotel or luxury resort.
• Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management or Hospitality Management.
• Professional certifications in pool operation, water treatment or chemical handling are an advantage.
