Pool Technician

About the role

The Pool Technician ensures that the resort’s swimming pools and water‑fountain network are kept in optimal condition. Working under the supervision of the Pool Supervisor, you will manage daily chemical balances, preventive maintenance, and minor electrical work to guarantee guest safety and comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the swimming pool and water‑fountain systems, including interior and underwater lighting.
• Apply chemicals as instructed and record daily pool‑balance parameters in operational logs.
• Execute preventive maintenance programs for pool equipment, pump stations, and related machinery.
• Lead Pool Attendants on‑site to ensure efficient daily maintenance.
• Perform minor electrical maintenance on pump stations and ensure fire‑detecting systems are tested regularly.
• Respond to maintenance requests, breakdowns, and emergency jobs (electrical, plumbing, cleaning) as required.
• Record parts used during repairs and coordinate re‑ordering with the Maintenance Officer.

Required profile

• Documented technical or vocational training.
• At least one year of experience in a hotel engineering department.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Willingness to relocate to a remote resort location.
