Power BI Developer / Data Visualization Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Power BI Developer / Data Visualization Specialist to turn complex datasets into clear, decision‑driving visual insights. Working fully remotely, you will design interactive dashboards that help business stakeholders quickly understand performance, trends, and opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced Power BI dashboards and reports using a variety of visualizations.
• Perform complex DAX calculations, including aggregate, date, logical, string, and table‑level functions.
• Connect Power BI to multiple data sources and ensure reliable data extraction.
• Clean, transform, and model data to guarantee accuracy and optimal reporting performance.
• Create and maintain custom visuals and grouped reporting structures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable dashboards.
• Support continuous improvement of reporting frameworks and visualization standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or Data Visualization Specialist.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, data modeling, and report optimization.
• Strong knowledge of DAX and experience integrating Power BI with multiple data sources.
• Solid SQL skills, preferably with SQL Server (2012+).
• Experience building custom visuals and grouped dashboard components.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Effective communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
