PR and Influencer Manager - Cultural Festival

About the role

A leading live experiences agency in the region, represented by its client, is looking for a PR and Influencer Manager to lead the full PR scope of a large-scale cultural festival in the Al Dhafra region, Abu Dhabi. The role starts immediately and runs until the first week of January 2027. It is based at the client's office in Dubai, with on-site work during the festival. The position is senior and hands-on, and the client wants someone who has independently led the full PR scope of a large event or festival.

Key responsibilities

• Lead PR planning and delivery before and during the festival, including the PR plan, key messages and media timeline
• Build and manage media coverage across regional and national outlets, and report on coverage, reach and results
• Run media engagements, PR stunts and on-ground activations, and coordinate influencer and content creator visits, briefs and deliverables
• Draft, write, review and finalise press releases and media materials, and build relationships with journalists and editors
• Plan and run media days, media dinners and press engagements
• Develop a crisis communication plan and handle live event issues quickly and calmly

Required profile

• Proven experience independently leading the full PR scope of events, festivals or cultural events
• Strong media connections in the UAE and hands-on media outreach experience
• Ability to write and finalise press releases without support
• Experience with PR stunts, activations, media days and crisis communication plans
• Valid UAE visa (required)
• Fluent English; Arabic preferred
• PR leadership on large festivals and influencer campaign management are strong advantages

Working conditions

• Full-time project contract, immediate start until the first week of January 2027
• Five days a week from the Dubai office until early December, then on site in Al Dhafra from 8 December 2026
• Flexible evenings and weekends during the festival period
