PR Executive

About the role

FIX Dessert Chocolatier, a Dubai-founded chocolate brand known for its Can't Get Knafeh of It bar, is looking for a super organised and creative PR Executive. This is a hands-on role for someone who creates stories people want to talk about, working closely with Marketing, Social Media, Creative and external PR agency partners to build brand awareness and generate media coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Support the PR strategy and day-to-day communications, and work with the PR agency to draft press releases, media pitches and other materials
• Build relationships with journalists, editors, media outlets and creators; coordinate media requests, interviews, reviews and features, and track coverage
• Support product launches, collaborations, pop-ups and events, including PR plans, media invitations, product seeding and tastings
• Work with the social lead on product gifting, seeding and creator activations, and turn launches into wider media stories
• Monitor media, food, lifestyle and cultural trends and flag reputational issues
• Track coverage and campaign results, prepare regular PR reports and use insights to improve future campaigns

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience in PR, communications or a related field
• Preferred: experience in F&B, lifestyle, hospitality, fashion, entertainment or consumer brands
• Proven experience with media, journalists, influencers and creators, and with product launches, events and campaigns
• Experience writing press releases, media pitches and briefing documents, and coordinating media visits and product seeding
• Strong understanding of the UAE media, influencer and lifestyle landscape

Required skills

• Excellent storytelling and copywriting, and strong written and verbal communication
• Media and influencer communication, and good knowledge of social media and digital trends
• Organised, detail-oriented, able to manage several projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
