PR & Media Relations Specialist

About the role

ADNOC Distribution is looking for a Specialist, PR & Media Relations to lead and coordinate external PR and media content so that messaging is clear, impactful and aligned with the company's strategy and narrative. The role also develops strategic external communications planning, acts as the focal point for media communications with business teams, and drives media relations and stakeholder engagement to protect and enhance the company's reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strategic communication plans covering the brand story, product offerings, corporate announcements and key initiatives across media channels.
• Research and draft press releases, social media articles, talking points, Op-eds and feature articles, and collaborate with stakeholders on their digital and print needs.
• Oversee the creation and design of PR content, text, visuals, videos and infographics, ensuring compliance with ADNOC Distribution and ADNOC Group guidelines.
• Standardize content across platforms and support the preparation of advertisements, brochures, booklets and campaign materials, including copywriting and proofreading.
• Analyze PR and media campaign performance, monitor competitor media activity and implement tracking models for press coverage, reputational risks and opportunities.
• Maintain centralized non-technical archives of corporate materials.
• Coordinate with senior management and agencies on messaging, media placements and publications, and help produce video scripts and run content audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in marketing communication, Marketing or Advertising from a recognized university.
• 8 years of experience in digital and social media marketing and advertising.
• Experience in the Oil and Gas or retail industry is preferable.
