Pre-Graduate Electrical/Telecom Engineer (UAE National)

About the role

Egis, an international engineering, consulting and construction firm operating in 100 countries, is looking for a detail-oriented, analytically minded Pre-Graduate Electrical/Telecom Engineer in Dubai. This is an opportunity for a UAE National to start a career in electrical and telecommunications engineering, gaining practical experience in designing, developing and optimising electrical and telecom systems under the mentorship of experienced engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of electrical circuits and telecommunications systems using industry-standard tools and software, under the direction of senior engineers.
• Carry out technical troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify system issues, with guidance from experienced team members.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, drawings and specifications following organisational standards and templates.
• Support the development and testing of telecom infrastructure components and network configurations within supervised project teams.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to analyse system performance and suggest improvements.
• Take part in project planning and coordination to build project management skills.
• Continue learning through hands-on experience and mentorship.

Required profile

• UAE Nationals with Family Book only.
• Currently enrolled in the final year of a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or a related discipline.

Required skills

• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with electrical design and simulation software such as MATLAB, SPICE or equivalent tools.
• Basic knowledge of CAD software for technical drawings (preferred).
