Pre‑Sales Engineer (m/f/d)

About the role

The Pre‑Sales Engineer will drive the technical side of proposals and tenders for complex international AV and lighting installations. You will work closely with clients, suppliers and internal teams to ensure every bid meets technical requirements and is ready for execution.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all tender and RFP responses are technically compliant with client specifications.
• Lead the technical planning team during the tender phase, coordinating design, layout and risk analyses.
• Independently design media and lighting installations and prepare detailed implementation plans.
• Review client‑provided planning documents and produce technical documentation such as renderings, sketches and block diagrams.
• Prepare design reports, technical risk assessments and preliminary construction schedules.
• Conduct internal and external project meetings and provide technical consulting to clients.
• Coordinate closely with suppliers, subcontractors and internal departments (Design & Engineering, Commercial, Project Management, Procurement).

Required profile

• Degree or proven experience in Audio‑Visual Engineering.
• Several years of pre‑sales engineering or technical project management in AV/lighting installations.
• Strong understanding of technical project planning, execution and documentation.
• Knowledge of the commercial and technical aspects of permanent or semi‑permanent installations in cultural and entertainment venues.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
