Pricing Analyst

About the role

Join Etihad Cargo’s pricing team and take responsibility for controlling the entire cargo network pricing and offer management to achieve the airline’s revenue plan.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a seasonal pricing strategy for the region in coordination with the regional commercial team, considering market forecasts and the Etihad Cargo business plan.
• Set prices by flow, rate type, customer and product, and identify the need for tactical pricing promotions.
• Create and manage the portfolio of offers for assigned routes, evaluate effectiveness and take corrective actions.
• Governance and performance tracking of prices and capacity allocations, supporting and challenging regional commercial teams to meet targets.
• Conduct research and analysis using internal and external data sources, including commercial feedback, to highlight opportunities and risks.
• Evaluate and approve spot rates, ensuring contributions are optimized for Etihad Cargo.
• Monitor route performance, maintain optimal load factors and business mix.
• Construct pricing proposals for global customer tenders and guide commercial negotiations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional groups on new product launches, strategic initiatives and system enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least two years of revenue management or related analytical experience.
• Strong knowledge of revenue management principles, pricing methodologies, modelling, cargo revenue management systems and flight planning.
• Excellent communication and decision‑making abilities.
• Highly numerate and comfortable working with complex systems.
